How to Fix Missing Verification Texts on Android & iPhone?

You may not receive verification code texts due to network issues, if your device is in airplane mode, or if you provide an incorrect number when the site or app asks for your number.

For both iPhone or Android, there are two methods to turn off your Airplane mode.

For iPhone Users

Method 1:

• Go to iPhone’s Settings.
• Find Airplane Mode and turn it off.

Method 2:

• Swipe down from the top menu on your home screen to open the Control Center.
• Tap the Airplane Mode button to turn it off.

For Android Users

• Go to the phone's Settings.
• Select Network & Internet.
• Toggle off the Airplane mode.

Method 2:

• Swipe down from the top of your screen to access the Quick Settings menu.
• Tap on the Airplane mode icon.

You should also ensure that your SIM card is in good condition when your phone does not receive the verification code.

Firstly, remove your SIM card from the slot. If you see any signs of damage, contact your carrier provider for a replacement. Otherwise, reinsert it properly, ensuring a perfect fit.

You also won’t receive a verification code from the blocked number. So, check that the number sending the verification code is not on your blocked list.

On iPhone:

• Go to iPhone’s Settings > Messages > Blocked Contacts
• Find the number you want to unblock.
• Swipe right to the left across the number and tap unblock.

On Android

• Open Message
• Click the menu icon (three vertical lines in the top left corner or your profile’s icon in the top right corner).
• Select Spam & blocked.
• Find the spam and blocked numbers.
• Press Not Spam or Unblock if you see your desired message or user.

If your inbox is full, open the Messages app, select unnecessary text messages, and delete them to avoid not receiving verification texts due to storage.

On iPhone:

• Click on the “Message” app icon on your home screen.
• Open the message you would like to delete.
• Long press on the message.
• Select “More” from the menu list.
• Click on the “Delete” icon. 

On Android

• Click on the “Message” app icon on your home screen.
