Calilio’s subprocessor
At Calilio, we are committed to delivering efficient and high-quality services to our clients. To ensure trouble-free operations, we partner with trusted third-party entities known as sub processors to assist in providing our services.
What are sub processors?
Sub Processors are third-party apps or organizations that may have access to personal data processed by Calilio on behalf of our clients. They offer essential services that enable Calilio to deliver its offerings and have been authorized by our customers under the Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
These sub processors may include external vendors or other entities within our group that effectively handle each customer's data.
We maintain a high standard of services with different subprocessors, ensuring that data protection and business confidentiality are always prioritized.
Selection Process for Third-Party Services
To select the subprocessor, Calilio follows a strict process that includes:
Detailed review of the security and privacy practices throughout the partnership agreement.
Ensure that sub processors adhere to protection measures consistent with Calilio’s standards.
Continuous monitoring of sub processors to ensure compliance with our data protection requirements.
Subprocessor Agreements
All Calilio sub processors are bound by contractual agreements that require them to handle customer data according to the same standards outlined in our DPA. This includes adhering to the DPA’s terms and applicable data privacy laws.
These contracts are designed to ensure that sub processors protect personal data to the same high standards that Calilio holds for itself.
Authorizing Subprocessors
By agreeing to our DPA, customers authorize Calilio to use sub processors or modify existing subprocessor relationships when needed unless otherwise specified in a customer-specific agreement.
This flexibility allows us to work with the best experts available while continuing to uphold robust data protection standards.
Notify Subprocessors Change to Customers
Calilio reserves the right to engage new sub-processors or alter existing subprocessor relationships without direct customer notification in every instance. However, we strive to maintain transparency and will inform clients of any significant changes when possible.
If we choose to notify customers, they will have 15 days from the notification to raise any reasonable objections to the proposed changes, as specified in the DPA. The changes are deemed accepted if no objections are received within this period.
If an objection is raised, we will work collaboratively with the customer to address concerns and reach a satisfactory solution for all parties involved.
By accepting our DPA and using our services, customers authorize Calilio to make necessary subprocessor changes. While we are not obligated to provide notifications in all cases, we make every effort to ensure transparency and safeguard data protection while benefiting from the expertise of subprocessors.
